A Subhashita (Wise Saying) says this:
यथा चतुर्भिः कनकं परीक्ष्यते निघर्षणच्छेदनतापताडनैः।
तथा चतुर्भिः पुरुषः परीक्ष्यते त्यागेन शीलेन गुणेन कर्मणा॥
Yathā caturbhiḥ kanakaṁ parīkṣyate nigharṣaṇa-cchedana-tāpa-tāḍanaiḥ।
tathā caturbhiḥ puruṣaḥ parīkṣyate tyāgena śīlena guṇena karmaṇā॥
This means that “Just as gold is tested and refined in four ways—by friction (rubbing), cutting, heating, and pounding—so too is a person tested and refined by their sacrifice, conduct, virtues, and actions under trial.”
The heavy burdens you are carrying and the stressful challenges that make you want to quit are not there to destroy you; they are there to refine you.
That friction will help you grow.
It will help you discover your true strength.
So when life turns up the heat, don't shrink back.
Stand your ground, embrace the struggle, and remember that the heaviest pressure is just a sign that you are about to become something unbreakable.
