The Panchatantra mentions this:
भयात् प्रस्कन्दते यस्तु न स कार्ये प्रवर्तते ।
न भीतस्य कुतः कीर्तिः कुतः प्राप्यं महद् धनम् ॥
Bhayāt praskandate yastu na sa kārye pravartate |
Na bhītasya kutaḥ kīrtiḥ kutaḥ prāpyaṁ mahad dhanam ||
This means that ‘One who shrinks away out of fear never engages in meaningful action. For a person consumed by fear, where is the possibility of renown, and how can they ever attain great wealth or high achievements?’
The only thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve is the fear of failure.
The fear of failure convinces us that staying quiet is safer than moving forward. The reason this illusion is dangerous is that we never realise that the only guaranteed failure is the decision never to try.
The moment you decide that your dream is worth more than your comfort, the fear loses its power.
Remember that on the other side of your greatest fear lies the exact life you have been dreaming of.
