A Subhashita (wise saying) mentions this:
खलः सर्षपमात्राणि परछिद्राणि पश्यति ।
आत्मनो बिल्वमात्राणि पश्यन्नपि न पश्यति ॥
Khalaḥ sarṣapa-mātrāṇi para-chidrāṇi paśyati |
Ātmano bilva-mātrāṇi paśyann-api na paśyati ||
This means that, ‘A narrow-minded or malicious person will spot the tiny flaws in others, even if they are as small as a mustard seed. Yet, they remain completely blind to their own massive faults, even if they are as large as a wood-apple.’
True strength does not come from tearing others down to measure your own height
Your strength comes from having the grace to understand that everyone is living a different life from your own.
When you choose to see the potential in others instead of their flaws, you don't just change how you see the world, you transform who you are.
Judging Others Defines You, Not Them
