May you live every day of your life



The Shantishatakam mentions this:

गतो दिवसो न निवर्तते, तस्मात् सचेतसा भवितव्यम् ।

Gato divaso na nivartate, tasmāt sacetasā bhavitavyam | 

This means that ‘The day that has passed will never return. Therefore, one must remain completely conscious, mindful, and alert right now. ’

Living is not existing and living requires your active participation. To live every day means to wake up and consciously claim your time, to refuse to let your hours be swallowed by passive routine. Give this world your full presence, your fierce passion, and your authentic self, because your life isn't a dress rehearsal. 

Life is happening right now.
