We believe in headstarts - that if we don’t start with the best tools or the fastest pace, the climb is not worth it.
In Sanskrit there is a Subhashita (a well-known saying):
उद्यमी लभते सिद्धिम् अयोग्योऽपि सुनिश्चितम्।
अनूरुर्गगनस्यान्तं प्रयात्येव दिने दिने॥
Udyamee labhate siddhim ayogyo-api sunishchitam |
Anoorur-gaganasyaantam prayaatyeva dine dine ||
This means that ‘Even a person without great initial strength or ability will certainly achieve success through continuous, daily effort. Just look at Aruna (the dawn charioteer of the Sun), who has no legs, yet covers the entire sky day after day through steady movement.’
*
According to Hindu Puranas, Aruna is the charioteer of the Surya Deva, the Sun God. Aruna was half-formed and did not have any legs
He was perfect in his job as the Sun’s charioteer.
Aruna completes his journey - dine dine - day by day, step by step.

Most people wait for ideal conditions to begin, but that is not necessary. You need to be in motion. The growth will begin when you consistently stay on the path.
So if you feel you are underqualified, remember Aruna. You do not need extraordinary gifts, you just need to show up every day.
Your efforts will pay off when you arrive.
