A verse from the Rig Veda (1.50.10) states this
उद्वयं तमसस्परि ज्योतिष्पश्यन्त उत्तरम् ।
देवं देवत्रा सूर्यमगन्म ज्योतिरुत्तमम् ॥
Ud vayaṁ tamasas pari jyotiṣ paśyanta uttaram |
devaṁ devatrā sūryam aganma jyotir uttamam ||
This means that "Looking up above the darkness, gazing upon the higher light, we have come to the divine Sun, the god among gods, the supreme light."
Life has a habit of pulling our gaze downward toward the heavy weight of our daily worries or even toward our phones.
But the moment you lift your eyes, the vision widens.
Looking up is a powerful reminder that no matter how small or crowded our current circumstances feel, there is a vast, infinite sky above us which is full of unanswered possibilities and unreached stars.
Keep your eyes on the horizon.
Remember how much room you have to grow, and never forget that the sun always breaks through the clouds if you are willing to look for it.
