The Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 35 states this
श्रेयान्स्वधर्मो विगुण: परधर्मात्स्वनुष्ठितात् ।
स्वधर्मे निधनं श्रेय: परधर्मो भयावह: ॥
Śhreyān swa-dharmo viguṇaḥ para-dharmāt sv-anuṣhṭhitāt /
swa-dharme nidhanaṁ śhreyaḥ para-dharmo bhayāvahaḥ
This means that it is far better to live your own path imperfectly than to masterfully live the life of someone else. Even failing while being true to yourself is honorable, because trying to be someone you are not is fraught with fear and stagnation.
Your quirks, your unique perspective, your specific blend of struggles and triumphs—that is your superpower. Trying to fit into a mold that was not built for you only suffocates your potential.
Own your story, speak your truth, and let the world adapt to your light.
The most powerful thing you can do today is simply show up as you are, because the spot you occupy is yours alone.
No one else can fill it.
